The First Australian Nature Journaling Conference Brisbane May 2024

Be there!

Member group NatureArt Lab are thrilled to announce the first Australian Nature Journaling Conference, which will be held in Brisbane from May 23rd to May 26th! This is an incredible opportunity for anyone who loves nature journaling to connect with like-minded individuals and immerse themselves in a wonderful networking event.

The conference boasts an exciting program filled with enriching experiences. To kick off the event, attendees can enjoy a Welcome to Country didgeridoo performance, followed by welcome drinks accompanied by live music and a display of journals from across Australia. The festivities continue with a delightful dinner set amongst the natural history collection at the museum, providing a unique atmosphere to start the conference.

During the event, attendees can partake in a range of intriguing workshops, talks, and presentations. These activities offer insights into the art and practice of nature journaling, while also providing valuable networking opportunities. In addition to the indoor sessions, there will be field trips to stunning locations such as the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens and the Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre, with transportation generously sponsored by Brisbane City Council. A lovely picnic in the Southbank precinct is also on the agenda, promising a relaxing time in nature.

As spaces are limited, we encourage you to secure your spot as soon as possible. Don't miss this chance to learn, share, and be inspired by the world of nature journaling!
